  • Metal Complex Dyes

    Metal Complex Dyes

Metal complex dye are a family of dyes that contain metals coordinated to the organic portion. Many azo dyes, especially those derived from naphthols, form metal complexes by complexation of one of the azo nitrogen centers. Metal complex dyes are premetallised dyes that show great affinity towards protein fibers. In this dye one or two dye molecules are coordinated with a metal ion. The dye molecule is typically a monoazo structure containing additional groups such as hydroxyl, carboxyl or amino, which are capable of forming a strong co-ordination complexes with transition metal ions such as chromium, cobalt, nickel and copper.

  • Hermcol® Yellow LBE (Pigment Yellow 174)

Hermcol® Yellow LBE (Pigment Yellow 174)

Hermcol® Yellow LBE is a high-transparent red shaded diarylide yellow pigment with excellent flow properties intented for the use in offset process printing (ISO 2846-1). In sheetfed offset, particularly in VOC-free formulations, it produces inks with excellent flow properties, but nevertheless high body. In web offset printing, inks based on Permanent Yellow GRS 80 tend less towards misting due to the special viscoelastic behaviour.

  • Hermcol® Lemon Chrome Yellow (Pigment Yellow 34)

Hermcol® Lemon Chrome Yellow (Pigment Yellow 34)

Lemon Chrome Yellow is an inorganic chromium yellow pigment. This product appears as a lemon yellow powder and has a relative tinting strength of 95%, and it functions as a colorant in paints and inks.Lemon Chrome Yellow with Lemon powder, It is Bright color, strong tinting strength, high hiding . with good light fastness and dispersibility. Many different grades of this type of pigment are available and they offer such improvements in properties as better chemical resistance, decreased tendency to darken on exposure, improved weathering, and as a silica-encapsulated product to minimize solubility of the lead contained within the pigment.

  • Solvent dyes

    Solvent dyes

A solvent dye is a dye which is soluble in organic solvents and is frequently used as a solution in those solvents. This category of dyes is used to color items such as waxes, lubricants, plastics, and other hydrocarbon-based nonpolar materials. Any dyes used in fuels, for example, would be considered solvent dyes and they are not soluble in water.

  • Hermcol® Light Chrome Yellow (Pigment Yellow 34)

Hermcol® Light Chrome Yellow (Pigment Yellow 34)

Chrome Yellow is a natural yellow pigment made of lead(II) chromate (PbCrO4). It was first extracted from the mineral crocoite by the French chemist Louis Vauquelin in 1797. Because the pigment tends to oxidize and darken on exposure to air over time, and it contains lead, a toxic, heavy metal, it has been largely replaced by another pigment, Cadmium Yellow (mixed with enough Cadmium Orange to produce a color equivalent to chrome yellow). Cadmium pigments on their own are toxic as well from the cadmium content, and have themselves been replaced with azo pigments. This pigment has bright color, with strong tinting strength, high hiding power, good light fastness and dispersibility.
