Hermcol TiO2 HR998 is based on rutile titanium dioxide produced by the Extraction chloride process and is widely used as a general-purpose product in the plastics industry. The advanced production process results in good processibility in high-concentration masterbatch applications, and the special surface treatment technology provides excellent anti-cracking properties under high-temperature processing conditions.

The special surface treatment of Hermcol TiO2 HR998 minimizes the impact on the melt fluidity of the masterbatch, thus enabling manufacturers to obtain high pigment contents in resins with relatively low melt indices. At the same time, this product remains a melt-processable material.

Hermcol TiO2 HR998 is mainly used in the plastics industry, especially for highly concentrated thermoplastic masterbatches and systems where minimal melt flow impact is required, such as engineering plastics and various film applications.

TiO2 HR998 should not be stored outdoors, but in a dry, ventilated area, off the ground on pallets or on racks to avoid moisture. The product should be protected from rain and sunlight during transport to prevent contamination and damage to the packaging. The product can only be stored for a long period of time if the above requirements are met, and the first-in first-out principle must be implemented during use.
